We work alongside with the epworth skate project at the local skate epworth skate park. Through out the year they host a few events to help raise money for the park called skate days at the skate park. We along with other shops provide products and prizes for their small contest. Throughout the year whenever we setup at the skate park a percentage of sales go towards to the skate park fund.

Donations to Skate Epworth can be sent to:

We teamed along again with the Georgetown Boys & Girls Club to show case some skateboarding and did a few skate lessons. Thank you to our team riders who made it out to the event to help with lessons.

First State Skate Supply owners James West, kneeling at left, and Joe Moore, right, join with Georgetown Boys & Girls Club director Renee Hickman, her staff and club members to present a $3,000 donation.

The owners said the funds come from from the sale of “End Racism” T-shirts.

“We wanted to support the Black Lives Matter movement, but we weren’t sure where the money would go,” West said. “Keeping the funds local, we know this money will go to help these kids.”
